Last updated: May 28, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Yacht Swipe, including the web app, account features, crew profiles, recruiter workspaces, job posts, matching, messaging, certificate review, AI-assisted tools, Yacht Swipe Ops, watch schedules, hours of rest tools, visa trackers, support, notifications, subscriptions, and related services. By creating an account, joining a workspace, posting a job, applying for work, or otherwise using Yacht Swipe, you agree to these Terms.
Yacht Swipe is operated by Nautiq Labs OÜ, an Estonian private limited company. Registered address: Harju maakond, Tallinn, Kesklinna linnaosa, Jõe tn 3-406, 10151, Estonia. Contact: support@nautiqlabs.com.
These Terms are written to be clear and practical. They are not legal, tax, employment, immigration, maritime, medical, or insurance advice.
The Service
Yacht Swipe is a technology platform that helps yacht crew, captains, recruiters, agencies, yacht programs, and management teams connect and manage recruiting workflows. Crew can build a profile, upload certificates and documents, track selected work-related records, browse jobs, apply, match, and message. Recruiters and workspaces can create profiles, post jobs, discover crew, invite teammates, manage applicants, and use permitted Yacht Swipe Ops features.
Yacht Swipe is available through the web app and may be available through mobile apps or other channels. Features may be added, changed, limited, tested, or removed over time.
Accounts, Eligibility, and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old to use Yacht Swipe. You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and use Yacht Swipe only if you are legally allowed to do so. You are responsible for activity on your account.
If you create or join a recruiter, company, vessel, agency, or management workspace, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that workspace and to share any information you provide. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for inviting the correct members, assigning permissions carefully, removing access when needed, and keeping billing and workspace information accurate.
Platform Role
Yacht Swipe is a software platform. Yacht Swipe and Nautiq Labs OÜ are not your employer, recruitment agency of record, manning agency, placement agency, payroll provider, vessel operator, insurer, immigration advisor, legal advisor, medical provider, maritime authority, flag-state representative, or certificate issuer.
We do not place crew, manage crew employment, guarantee work, guarantee hires, negotiate employment terms, verify employment eligibility for a vessel, or guarantee that a job, applicant, certificate, visa, medical document, or profile will be accepted by any employer, vessel, insurer, authority, flag state, port state, issuing body, or immigration authority.
No Crew Fees
Yacht Swipe is free for crew to use. Crew must not be charged placement, recruitment, application, hiring success, platform access, or salary deduction fees through Yacht Swipe. Recruiters, captains, agencies, employers, and workspace members must not use Yacht Swipe to request, arrange, disguise, or collect unlawful or improper fees from crew.
Report any fee, deduction, Maritime Labour Convention, contract, safety, fraud, or trafficking concern to support@nautiqlabs.com.
Crew Responsibilities
Crew are responsible for:
- keeping profile, availability, contact, experience, certificate, passport, visa, medical, logbook, and preference information accurate and up to date;
- uploading only documents they own or are allowed to share;
- checking whether certificates, medical fitness, visas, travel documents, passports, right to work, endorsements, and other requirements are valid for a specific job, vessel, flag, insurer, port, or route;
- reviewing job details, contracts, vessel conditions, safety expectations, recruiter identity, employer identity, and employment terms before accepting work;
- communicating professionally and complying with applicable employment, immigration, maritime, tax, safety, contract, and vessel rules.
Recruiter and Workspace Responsibilities
Recruiters, captains, agencies, yacht programs, employers, and workspace members are responsible for:
- posting lawful, accurate, current, and non-misleading jobs;
- being authorized to recruit for the vessel, company, client, program, or role represented;
- clearly stating role, vessel type, location, start date, pay range where appropriate, contract terms, visa or certificate requirements, and mandatory qualifications;
- complying with employment, privacy, equality, maritime, immigration, tax, payroll, agency, and Maritime Labour Convention requirements that apply;
- not charging crew prohibited fees or arranging salary deductions through Yacht Swipe;
- keeping recruiter, company, workspace, billing, subscription, and team member information accurate.
Recruiter Packages, Stripe Billing, and Trials
Paid recruiter packages are intended for professional, business, vessel, company, agency, captain, or management workspaces. They are not designed as consumer subscriptions. Package names, limits, prices, trial availability, and included features may change before or after launch.
Paid packages may include workspace seats, active job limits, Yacht Swipe Ops vessel limits, recruiter tools, founder terms, or other entitlements shown in the app or on Yacht Swipe websites. Founder Deal is intended to provide Captain Pro-style access at founder pricing, with founder-specific badge and launch terms while active and subject to approval.
Stripe or another payment provider may process checkout, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, payment methods, billing portal access, and failed-payment handling. Yacht Swipe does not store full card details. You authorize recurring charges for the selected package unless cancelled or changed according to the checkout and billing terms.
Where offered, a 14-day free trial lets an eligible workspace test paid features before the first recurring charge. Trials may be limited, withdrawn, or changed. You can cancel through the billing portal or support before renewal to avoid the next charge. Access to paid features may be suspended, limited, or cancelled if payment, verification, workspace authority, or compliance requirements are not met.
Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of VAT, sales tax, or similar taxes depending on Stripe settings, your billing details, and applicable law. You are responsible for keeping billing details, tax IDs, and invoice information accurate. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, paid subscription fees are non-refundable once access has been provided for the billing period.
If a person uses a paid package as a consumer despite the B2B workspace design, mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded may still apply.
Yacht Swipe Ops, Hours of Rest, Watch Schedules, and Visa Trackers
Yacht Swipe Ops tools may help with vessel profiles, crew records, documents, tasks, maintenance, watch schedules, hours of rest, PDFs, and operational planning. These tools are aids only. Vessel owners, operators, captains, managers and crew remain responsible for compliance with flag-state, port-state, Maritime Labour Convention, STCW, employment, safety, operational, and insurance requirements.
Hours of rest, watch schedule, and PDF exports may contain errors, missing entries, timezone issues, or user-entered mistakes. Users must review and correct records before relying on them.
Visa trackers, Schengen calculators, B1/B2 I-94 records, passport reminders, and related alerts are manual planning aids only. They are not immigration advice and do not replace official calculators, government records, border officer decisions, legal advice, or employer checks.
Certificate Review and AI Assistance
Yacht Swipe may use AI-assisted tools and human admin review to read certificates, identify certificate types, interpret issue dates, expiry dates, course dates, renewal dates, no-expiry selections, passport or visa fields, and possible mismatch or tamper signals. AI may also assist with job post parsing, profile text, support replies, moderation, matching signals, and notification content.
AI and admin review can make mistakes. A Yacht Swipe verification result means the uploaded document appears to match app rules at the time of review. It is not official issuer authentication, legal clearance, medical approval, employment approval, immigration clearance, or a guarantee of validity for a role, vessel, flag, insurer, authority, or issuing body.
Yacht Swipe may approve, reject, request more information, re-run AI review, route uncertain cases to admin review, or revoke verification where appropriate. Users may ask support to review a certificate or moderation decision.
Matching, Applications, Alerts, and Messages
Swipes, match percentages, 85% job match alerts, saved items, applications, shortlists, hire workflows, and messages help users connect. Match scores and alerts are informational only and do not guarantee suitability, eligibility, interview, employment, or acceptance.
You must not spam, harass, misrepresent yourself, scrape data, send illegal content, or use messages to move users into unsafe, fraudulent, discriminatory, or fee-charging arrangements. Users are responsible for their own communications, checks, decisions, and agreements.
User Content and License
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as profile text, documents, images, CVs, references, job posts, messages, company information, vessel data, Ops records, watch schedules, and support content. You give Yacht Swipe a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, display, process, moderate, translate, analyze, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
Do not upload content that is false, illegal, harmful, discriminatory, infringing, confidential without permission, malicious, unsafe, or likely to mislead another user. You must have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload.
Acceptable Use, Moderation, and Review
You must not:
- use Yacht Swipe for unlawful recruitment, trafficking, discrimination, fraud, harassment, spam, scraping, credential theft, prohibited crew fees, or unsafe arrangements;
- bypass security, rate limits, verification, billing, workspace permissions, or access controls;
- upload malware, fake certificates, stolen documents, misleading jobs, or content that violates another person's rights;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the service except as allowed by Yacht Swipe;
- interfere with the app, providers, infrastructure, support systems, or other users.
Yacht Swipe may review, restrict, remove, label, or report accounts, content, jobs, messages, certificates, files, alerts, or workspaces where we believe there may be safety, legal, fee, fraud, spam, abuse, payment, intellectual property, or compliance concerns. You can contact support@nautiqlabs.com to report illegal or harmful content or to ask for review of a moderation decision.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Yacht Swipe collects and uses personal information. By using Yacht Swipe, you agree that your information may be handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Specific data deletion requests can be made through our data deletion page, and account deletion requests can be made from inside the app or through our account deletion page.
Availability and Changes
Yacht Swipe may change, test, suspend, or discontinue features, including AI tools, certificate rules, support workflows, mobile apps, recruiter packages, Stripe billing, Yacht Swipe Ops, watch schedules, visa trackers, and workspace permissions. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security issues, migrations, or technical problems.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Yacht Swipe at any time, including by deleting your account from inside the app or through our account deletion page. Yacht Swipe may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for users or the service, fail verification or payment requirements, misuse AI-assisted features, or create legal or safety concerns. Some records may be retained after account closure where needed for legal, safety, billing, audit, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
Disclaimers and Liability
Yacht Swipe is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yacht Swipe disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and successful employment or recruitment outcomes.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yacht Swipe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, employment disputes, vessel conditions, contract terms, immigration outcomes, certificate outcomes, tax consequences, third-party actions, or decisions made by users, employers, recruiters, authorities, insurers, issuing bodies, payment providers, or AI providers.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, unless mandatory consumer, employment, maritime, privacy, or other law gives you additional rights in another place.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Yacht Swipe develops, including when we add mobile apps, payment processing, recruiter packages, AI-assisted features, certificate rules, visa trackers, Ops tools, or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new last updated date. Continued use of Yacht Swipe after an update means you accept the updated Terms, unless mandatory law requires another process.
