Yacht Swipe Cookie & Local Storage Notice
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This notice explains how Yacht Swipe uses cookies, local storage, device storage, and similar technologies on our websites, web app, and mobile apps where available. It should be read together with the Yacht Swipe Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Local storage, session storage, mobile device storage, push tokens, and similar technologies can also store or read information on your device. In this notice, we use "cookies and local storage" to cover these related technologies.
Essential App Storage
Yacht Swipe uses essential cookies and local storage to provide and protect the service. These technologies support:
- login sessions, authentication state, and secure account routing;
- session timeout controls, keep-me-signed-in choices, and last activity checks;
- security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and app recovery or reset flows;
- onboarding progress, tutorial state, preferences, and app display choices;
- billing checkout or billing portal return context;
- saved app state, cached non-sensitive identifiers, and basic performance recovery;
- push notification tokens, notification delivery support, crash reports, diagnostics, and app performance monitoring where enabled by the app or device.
Blocking or deleting essential storage may stop login, account settings, job matching, messaging, billing, notifications, or other Yacht Swipe features from working correctly.
Analytics And Marketing
Yacht Swipe does not currently use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-context behavioral advertising cookies.
If Yacht Swipe later adds optional analytics, advertising pixels, retargeting, or similar non-essential tracking technologies, we will enable the required consent controls before those technologies are used. Where required, those controls will let you accept, reject, or manage optional analytics and marketing storage.
Your Choices
You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser or device settings. You can also sign out of Yacht Swipe, clear browser storage, remove the mobile app, manage notification permissions, or contact support@nautiqlabs.com for privacy requests.
Some service messages, security functions, authentication storage, billing flow storage, and app recovery storage are necessary for Yacht Swipe to work and cannot be switched off inside the app.
Changes To This Notice
We may update this notice as Yacht Swipe develops, including when we add mobile apps, optional analytics, new notification tools, new billing flows, or new legal requirements. The updated version will show a new last updated date.
